Fair housing requirement is included in the Boston Zoning Code.

Boston becomes the first city in the U.S. to include a fair housing requirement in its zoning code.  In addition to banning discrimination, the measure, entitled “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing,” the measure requires developers to “do more to fight displacement and create housing for all.”
